Warranty Policy

Every product PosGear sells comes with two layers of cover — the manufacturer’s warranty set by the brand, and PosGear’s own promise on top. Both are shown on each product page.

1. Manufacturer’s warranty. Each brand sets its own period — some scanners, printers and terminals carry up to 3–5 years, while entry models carry 1 year. A few brands (such as Datalogic, Elo and HP) offer an international warranty valid worldwide; most others are regional, which we honour locally in Oman through Al Kays — you deal with us, not an overseas service centre. The exact period for your item is shown on its product page and confirmed on your invoice.

2. PosGear cover. On top of the manufacturer’s warranty, every order carries our 15-day replacement on arrival and a real warranty desk you can reach on WhatsApp in Arabic or English.

Label printers: the printhead is often warranted separately by the manufacturer (a shorter, usage-based period) — this is noted on the relevant product pages.

Dead on arrival (0–15 days): Report a faulty unit within 15 days; after a WhatsApp diagnostic we ship a swap-first replacement at no cost. See our Returns & Replacements Policy.

In-warranty repair (after 15 days): Where a manufacturer service centre exists in Oman we route your unit there; otherwise we arrange repair or replacement, typically within 10 business days.

Consumables: Rolls, labels and ribbons are covered against manufacturing defects only.

Not covered: Physical damage, liquid ingress, power damage, tampered seals, third-party repair.

How to claim: WhatsApp us your order number and a short video of the issue. We handle the rest.
